This Privacy Policy explains how the PressureKit mobile application ("PressureKit", "the app", "we", "us") handles information. PressureKit is an offline engineering utility for pressure, force and area calculations, unit conversion, hydraulic calculations and pressure-difference checks.

In short: PressureKit does not collect, transmit, sell or share your personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. The app does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email address, phone number, or location.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

To work properly, the app saves the following data locally on your device only:

  • App preferences: theme (light, dark or system), decimal precision, default pressure, force and area units, and whether onboarding has been completed.
  • Calculation history: if you save a calculation (or enable the auto-save option), the inputs and results are stored in the app, up to a maximum of 100 items.
  • Favorites: the tools and formulas you mark as favorites.

This data is never sent to us or to any third party. It exists only in the app's private storage on your device.

3. Internet Access and Third-Party Services

PressureKit works fully offline. The app does not use analytics, crash-reporting, telemetry, advertising or tracking services, and it does not send any data to servers operated by us or by third parties.

4. Permissions

The app does not request any special permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files or location.

5. Sharing and Copying Features

PressureKit lets you copy a result to the clipboard or share it using your device's standard share menu. These actions only happen when you choose them. When you share, the text of the result goes to the app you select (for example, a messaging app), and that app's own privacy policy applies. We do not receive or see anything you share.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your data is stored only on your device, you control it:

  • Delete individual history items or clear all history from within the app.
  • Clear the app's storage in your device settings, or uninstall the app, to remove all saved data.

We cannot access or recover this data, since we never receive it.

7. Data Security

We do not transmit your data, so it is not exposed to us or to others over the network. Data kept on your device is protected by your device's own security features, such as screen lock and operating system sandboxing. We recommend keeping your device secured and up to date.

8. Children's Privacy

PressureKit does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app collects no data from any user.

9. Accuracy Disclaimer

PressureKit is provided as a convenience tool. Results are calculated from the values you enter and standard conversion factors. Please verify critical results independently before using them in safety-critical or professional engineering work.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
